Push Up Pro: It works!

I bought this product three weeks ago, and have used it about 15 total days. After a few uses, I realized the genius of these Push-Up Pros.
First, I tried them on the floor. As a middle-aged female, who can do no more than 15 men’s push-ups at a time, these tools did not make it any easier for me to do more. I was kind of disappointed, although I realized my wrists did not feel as much strain. So, I kept them in direct view of my couch, hoping to be inspired while watching television. Seeing them in front of me, I used them a few more times, on the floor with the same results.
THEN, one night I decided to try them on the wall. I placed them on the wall and proceeded to do an entire workout. It felt incredible. I put them at different levels, stretching my back, my legs, holding my weight against the wall, and doing push-ups at my leisure. The next day, I noticed improvement in the core of my body and my posture: I felt almost like an olympic swimmer. After a few weeks, I noticed the flab on my arms diminishing. My super-toned muscles of younger days are now making a comeback.
The principle of this item is simple: there are no attachments necessary, and no markings are left on your wall or flooring. It is simply a way for one to exercise against the weight of his or her own body. Ideally, this is what we all should strive for, to be able to lift and control our own body weight (call it isotonics, kinetics, or whatever you want). I recommend a day of rest between extensive workouts, to give your shoulders recovery time.
The handles could be a little more comfortable, and I believe the makers of this product will soon realize so. These are, however, completely portable, inexpensive, and not a dangerous contraption, therefore I give them a top-rating.

I’ve read reviews on both the perfect pushup and the pushup pro. The two products are extremely simular and there is nothing really special about one or the other. It comes down to how much you are willing to pay. This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. The pushup pro is nice but it is kinda cheap and not that durable. the perfect pushup is nice because as other people have said, they have a few different models out there. So you can choose the one that is best for you and your wallet.

At walmart

Gil, I have both the standard perfect pushup and the new basic perfect push up available for $19.95 at Wal Mart.Functionally, I have noticed no difference between the two.The ‘basic’ is simpler construction, and the handle must be placed into the base. Once assembled it’s not possible to disassemble it. The rubber grip on the basic seems to be more stable as well, as the grip on the metal handled standard perfect push up has a tendency to slide forwards or backwards, especially while doing wide grips requiring one to re center it occasionally.

If I had to recommend one it would be the cheaper variety at Wal mart for $20. It does everything the more expensive version will do.

There’s also another version Alden has out that’s a travel version. The handles detach. It seems very similar to the basic model except it has buttons on the handles that allow the handles to detach from the base for easier packing. For someone that needs to take them on the road this is probably the best option out of the three.

I highly recommend the perfect push up to all my friends and clients.

I’ve also examined the push up pro, and although it seems to do the same thing and is lighter weight, it’s construction and overall quality seems less than any of the perfect push up models. The handle is less cushioned as well. Maybe a decent gift for a chick or someone doing them against the wall or on their knees, but in my opinion the perfect push up has it beat by almost every measure.
